To become a pre-qualified as a laser scanning rental customer and save 15% on your first week’s rental, you must submit to SGM the Insurance and Credit App.
A current All-Risk Lease/Rental Equipment Insurance Policy of at least $125,000 must be on file with SGM in order to rent.
INSURANCE AND INSURANCE CERTIFICATE The Customer shall insure each Laser Scanner Unit for $125,000 under an ALL RISKS POLICY. A copy of the insurance certificate naming the Company as an additional insured shall be provided to the Company prior to the commencement of the Rental. Failure of the insurance company to honor a claim in no way changes the obligation of the Customer to compensate the Company for the full new replacement value of the equipment. The minimum paid up term of the Insurance must be for the initial period of the Rental plus one-month.
LIABILITY AND INDEMNITY Liability for injury, disability, and death of workers and other persons caused by operating, handling, or transporting the equipment during the term of this Rental is the obligation of the Customer, and the Customer shall indemnify and hold the Company harmless from and against all such liability. Customer shall maintain liability insurance of at least $2,000,000.00 unless waived in writing by the Company.
Customers will be responsible for all sales tax charged on equipment rentals unless a current resale/exemption certificate is on file with SGM. All balances are due net-30 days from invoice in the case that a Credit Application is approved. SGM also accepts Credit Card payments for payments due apon receipt.
Customers will be responsible for all shipping charges and any related fees.
